This lecture covers three problems related to black holes and gravitational waves. The first problem involves understanding the redshift of a photon emitted near a black hole. The second problem explores the degrees of freedom and gauge symmetry of electromagnetic and gravitational waves in different spacetime dimensions. The final problem delves into computing the energy-momentum tensor for gravitational waves, determining if they carry energy and momentum.
