This lecture focuses on the equalization of room modes in the low frequency range using electroacoustic absorbers. The instructor demonstrates the setup involving loudspeakers, microphones, and electroacoustic absorber boxes. Through various experiments, the effectiveness of the absorbers in reducing room modes at different frequencies is showcased. The instructor shows how the absorbers can significantly decrease the room resonance, leading to a more balanced frequency response and reduced decay time of the modes, ultimately equalizing the sound pressure amplitude inside the room.
