This lecture covers the application of Electron Transfer Theory in predicting power requirements, optimal operating conditions, and limiting factors of devices. Topics include electron tunneling, studying electron transfer at fixed distances, the Gerischer model, charge transfer, and the Gerischer-Marcus Theory.
