This lecture focuses on the initial project ideas, considering aspects such as plot occupation, entrance and stair positions, spatial organization, outdoor space treatment, and materials, all sketched on A4 format tracing paper. The slides show sketches and elevations from the 'Atelier Ortelli' architecture workshop at EPFL, led by Professor Luca Ortelli in 2008/2009.
