He obtained his doctorate in psychology at the National University of La Plata, Argentina, with a thesis on the development of children’s understanding of human death. Since 2004 he has been teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In 2012 he was appointed Associate Professor of Genetic Psychology and History of Psychology (UNLP), and since 2018 he researches at the universities of Neuchâtel and Geneva, in the fields of cognitive development, history of psychology and education. Since 2020 he is also a board member of the Jean Piaget Foundation for psychological and epistemological research, and professor at the Open University of Catalonia, Spain. He is currently a scientific collaborator at the Instant-Lab (EPFL), where he explores the uses of the performing arts in higher education.
