The Community of Studies for the Territory Approval (CEAT) at EPFL is a group of researchers focusing on built environment issues from a multidisciplinary perspective, conducting cutting-edge research on territorial planning. They also provide high-level expertise for public administrations and offer training at Bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral levels. CEAT emphasizes networking to create synergies among individuals, institutions, disciplines, and territories at local, regional, national, transboundary, and international levels. Their research projects cover a wide range of topics, including urban health, environmental determinants of health, participatory mapping, and governance in African cities.
