PRN-ROBOTICS - Gestion, part of the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Robotics, was a Swiss organization that brought together top researchers from leading institutions in Switzerland to develop new, human-oriented robotic technology. Over 12 years, NCCR Robotics focused on three main research strands: Wearable robots, Rescue robots, and Education robots. They aimed to create robots that could work symbiotically with humans, enabling them to assist individuals and society in various ways. The organization also supported entrepreneurship through its Spin-Fund program, which helped members develop prototypes and create start-ups. Additionally, NCCR Robotics promoted equal opportunities in robotics through various initiatives, such as the Career Development Award and the Swiss Robotics Masters Award.
