He is known primarily for committing the 2011 Norway attacks on 22 July 2011, in which he killed eight people by detonating a van bomb at Regjeringskvartalet in Oslo, and then killed 69 participants of a Workers' Youth League (AUF) summer camp, in a mass shooting on the island of Utøya. After Breivik was found psychologically competent to stand trial, his criminal trial was held in April 2012.

It claims to also be a religious and social movement, advocating a return to a more traditionally conservative, Christian-oriented Southern culture.

At one point, Klassen was a Republican Florida state legislator, as well as a supporter of George Wallace's presidential campaign.
Combat 18Combat 18 (C18 or 318) is a neo-Nazi terrorist organisation that was founded in 1992. It originated in the United Kingdom, with ties to movements in Canada and the United States. Since then it has spread to other countries, including Germany. Combat 18 members have been suspected of being involved and directly responsible in the deaths of numerous immigrants, non-whites and German politician Walter Lübcke and internecine killings of C18 members.
