The region is southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and the North American mainland, east of Central America, and north of South America.

Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) is given to People of Indian Origin and to persons who are not People of Indian Origin but married to People of Indian Origin.

TrinidadTrinidad is the larger and more populous of the two major islands of Trinidad and Tobago. The island lies off the northeastern coast of Venezuela and sits on the continental shelf of South America. It is often referred to as the southernmost island in the West Indies. With an area of , it is also the fifth largest in the West Indies. The original name for the island in the Arawaks' language was Iëre which meant "Land of the Hummingbird".
