This lecture covers Generalized Linear Models (GLMs) with a focus on logistic regression for binary outcomes. It explains the inadequacy of multiple linear regression for binary data and introduces the logit link function. The lecture also discusses the Poisson regression model for count data and demonstrates fitting GLMs in R. Important references for further study are provided.
