This lecture discusses the new factors influencing international migration cooperation, such as demographic changes and the shifting bargaining power between states. It also explores the challenges and opportunities for cooperation in the context of increasing xenophobia and demands for tighter borders, as well as the recent multilateral agreements aiming to balance international cooperation with national sovereignty.
