Parametric Curves - Introduction

This lecture introduces parametric curves, where a curve is defined by parametric equations. Different parameterizations can represent the same curve. The tangent vector at a point is defined as the derivative of the position vector. Symmetry properties and examples of parametric curves are discussed.
