Lecture

Synchrotrons and X-ray Techniques

Description

This lecture covers synchrotrons, x-ray free-electron lasers, ptychographic tomography, and laminography. It explains how ptychographic tomography combines ptychography and tomography for 3D reconstruction with high resolution. The lecture also introduces ptychographic x-ray laminography (PyXL) for studying extended samples in two dimensions, with an example of nondestructive study of chip architecture.
