Urban Challenges: African Cities

The lecture explores the evolution of urban phenomena, the emergence of new centralities, and the different types of cities such as sprawled cities, mega-cities, global cities, and medium-sized cities. It also delves into the population growth in cities like Luanda, Abidjan, and Kinshasa, highlighting the urbanization without economic development.
