This lecture covers correlation measures in image processing, including basic correlation, centered correlation, and the normalized correlation coefficient. It also discusses matched-filter detection, optimal matched filters, pattern detection by template matching, and matched filtering extension to colored noise. Furthermore, it explores feature extraction techniques such as edge detection, gradient-based edge detection, texture analysis, and filterbank analysis.
