This lecture covers the key elements of the design phase in the ADDIE model, the distinction between goals and learning objectives, and the different sections of a pedagogical design document. It also discusses the process for learners to achieve learning objectives, the difference between goals and objectives, and the domains of learning objectives. The complexity levels of learning objectives, primary and secondary objectives, and the coherence between them are also explained. Participants engage in practical exercises to identify primary and secondary objectives related to cycling, ensuring the use of action verbs and focusing on what the learner will be able to do.
