The Inertia Wheel Assembly (IWA) is composed by the IWA motor, the inertia wheel and the command electronics. IWA belongs to the Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) of the SwissCube satellite. Swisscube is a pico-satellite that complies with CubeSat specifications. It will be the first satellite entirely developed by students at EPFL. Its principal characteristics are the dimension, 10x10x10 cm and weight, 1Kg. The objective of this project is to develop a low power electronic equipment able to drive the BLDC motor of the SwissCube inertia wheel.
