The Song of La Palice"The Song of La Palice" (in French: La chanson de la Palisse) is a burlesque song attributed to Bernard de la Monnoye (1641–1728) about alleged feats of French nobleman and military leader Jacques de la Palice (1470–1525). From that song came the French term lapalissade meaning an utterly obvious truth—i.e. a truism or tautology. When you say something obvious, the interlocutor responds '"So would have said La Palice!" (in French: La Palice en aurait dit autant!).
Hamza Ben Driss OttmaniHamza Ben Driss Ottmani (10 May 1940 – 30 May 2012) was a Moroccan engineer, economist and writer. Aerospace engineer graduate from École nationale de l'aviation civile (the French civil aviation university ; promotion 1963) and economist graduate from ENSAE ParisTech (promotion 1973), Ottmani held senior official positions in the Moroccan public administration, particularly in the Departments of Public Works and Transportation. He was Transportation Planning Director for a long period, before becoming Secretary General of the Ministry of Transports.

Sarlat and La Canéda were distinct towns until merged into one commune in 1965. The town of Sarlat is in a region known in France as Périgord Noir. It lies in the southeastern part of the Dordogne department, 7 km north of the river Dordogne. Sarlat railway station offers train services to Bergerac, Bordeaux and Périgueux.
La Constancia MexicanaLa Constancia Mexicana is a textile factory from downtown Puebla, in the state of Mexico. The factory was the first textile mill to integrate automatic machinery into the production process. The factory was built within Santo Domingo Hacienda, which had an established hydrological infrastructure useful to textile manufacturing. The hacienda's architecture was updated to the 19th-century style, giving it a unique appearance. Thus, the factory introduced a new architectural style along with the new machinery.

It is in the locality of El Campillo in the municipal unit of San Pedro de la Nave-Almendra. It was moved from its original site near the River Esla when the land was to be flooded by the construction of the Ricobayo reservoir. The church, one of the oldest churches in Spain, is of architectural interest and is being considered for World Heritage Site status along with nine other Mozarabic sites.
