Denise MorelDenise Morel (born 10 August 1946) is a French writer and psychiatrist. She was born in Setif, Algeria, the youngest of four children. Between the ages of 8 and 14, she lived in Bône. The family left Algeria in 1961 to live in Marseille. She studied in Aix-en-Provence and Paris, obtaining a PhD in clinical psychology from Université Paris V. She has written numerous books, among them Setif de ma jeunesse, a well-regarded memoir of growing up in Setif. Her ancestors were of Swiss and Maltese origin.

He is the author of The werewolf complex: America's fascination with violence. He is also the author of studies on environmental risk. His main research field has been the phenomenon of societal "great fears" for both scapegoat characters (like "serial killers") and collective actions viewed as generating disasters.
Jean-Pierre SarrazacJean-Pierre Sarrazac (born 1946) is a French playwright, stage director, drama trainer and university teacher. In his works he has been influenced by Bernard Dort. He has published several studies and books on drama and dramaturgy. He directed several plays by playwrights Valère Novarina, Strindberg, von Saaz and himself. Jean-Pierre Sarrazac is an emeritus professor of theatre studies at the University of Paris III: Sorbonne Nouvelle and invited professor at the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium).
Pierre ClaveriePierre-Lucien Claverie, OP (8 May 1938 – 1 August 1996) was a French Catholic prelate who was a professed member from the Order of Preachers and served as the Bishop of Oran from 1981 until his murder in 1996 by Islamic extremists. He was committed to ecumenism and dialogue with the Islamic faith and dreamed of a peaceful co-existence with Muslims in an independent Algeria. He likewise was noted for his studies on Islamic culture and his mastering of classical Arabic which he even taught to those Muslims who understood the common popular language rather than its classical origins.

Isabelle GraessléIsabelle Graesslé (born 23 February 1959) is a French born theologian, feminist and former museum director, based in Geneva. In 2001 she was appointed moderator of ministers and deacons at the Protestant Church of Geneva. The position dates back to 1541 when it was created by John Calvin, but Graesslé, after 460 years, was the first woman to occupy it. In 2004 she was appointed the first director of the International Reformation Museum which opened the next year in Geneva, but she resigned the post in 2016.
De dicto and de reDe dicto and de re are two phrases used to mark a distinction in intensional statements, associated with the intensional operators in many such statements. The distinction is used regularly in metaphysics and in philosophy of language. The literal translation of the phrase de dicto is "about what is said", whereas de re translates as "about the thing". The original meaning of the Latin locutions may help to elucidate the living meaning of the phrases, in the distinctions they mark.
Henry BakisHenry Bakis is professor emeritus of geography at the University of Montpellier. His research has mainly focused on industry, firms and ICT geography (information and communications technologies). One of his primary interests has been considering the articulation and the effects of electronic communication networks on territories and social networks. Bakis plays an active role in the International Geographical Union commission dedicated to ICT: executive secretary, chairman or vice-chair of the commissions dedicated to ICT (1985 - 2016).
Roger BrunetRoger Brunet (born March 30, 1931) is a French geographer. Born in Toulouse, Brunet attended the University of Toulouse, where he earned his PhD in 1965. He was subsequently professor at the University of Reims from 1966 to 1976, where he founded IATEUR. He was a director of research at CNRS from 1976 to 1981, and from 1981 to 1984 served advisory and research roles in various French government ministries. In 1984, he founded the public interest group RECLUS, which he headed until 1991.
