Jacques de SolleyselJacques Labessie de Solleysel (1617–1680) was a French author of books on horsemanship. In 1664 he published Le Parfait Maréschal (The Compleat horseman), "for more than 100 years the authoritative work on horses". Jacques de Solleysel had studied at Lyons. One of his instructors in horsemanship was Menou de Charnizay, the friend and favourite pupil of Antoine de Pluvinel. He became Master of the Horse to the French Ambassador, negotiating the Peace of Westphalia at Münster in 1645, and using the opportunity to learn about veterinary practices in Germany.
Alain de BenoistAlain de Benoist (də_bəˈnwɑː , alɛ̃ də bənwa; born 11 December 1943) – also known as Fabrice Laroche, Robert de Herte, David Barney, and other pen names – is a French journalist and political philosopher, a founding member of the Nouvelle Droite ("New Right"), and the leader of the ethno-nationalist think tank GRECE. Principally influenced by thinkers of the German Conservative Revolution, de Benoist is opposed to Christianity, the rights of man, neoliberalism, representative democracy, egalitarianism; and what he sees as embodying and promoting those values, namely the United States.
Auguste Le PrévostAuguste Le Prévost (3 June 1787 in Bernay, Eure – 14 July 1859 in La Vaupalière) was a French geologist, philologist, archaeologist and historian. While studying classics and law, Le Prevost developed a passion for history and archeology. To further it, he learned, besides Latin and Greek, English, Italian, German, Swedish, Hebrew and Sanskrit. His encyclopedic knowledge, the critical and rigorous method he applied to his research, were clearly an innovation in his time.
Barthélemy de LaffemasBartholomew Laffemas was an economist, born in Beausemblant, France in 1545. He is officially recorded as dying in Paris in 1612. However, it is rumoured that he actually died on September 23, 1611, after falling from his horse. He is known as the first person to write about underconsumption Coming from the gentry Protestant, poor, he worked and became a tailor. He left the Dauphiné and went to Navarre. There he met Henry of Navarre, the future Henry IV of France. Then, in 1576, he became a "silver merchant" for the king.
Pays (France)In France, a pays (pɛ.i) is an area whose inhabitants share common geographical, economic, cultural, or social interests, who have a right to enter into communal planning contracts under a law known as the Loi Pasqua or LOADT (Loi d'Orientation pour l'Aménagement et le Développement du Territoire; Directive law concerning territorial planning and development), which took effect on February 4, 1995. It was augmented on June 25, 1999, by the Loi Voynet or LOADDT (Loi d'Orientation de l'Aménagement Durable du Territoire).
Danielle BleitrachDanielle Bleitrach (born 1938) is a French sociologist and journalist. From the 1970s through the end of the century, she was CNRS researcher and lecturer at the Aix-Marseille University, focusing on the sociology of the working class and urbanization. From 1981 to 1996 she was a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of France, then the National Committee of the Party. She was also assistant editor-in-chief of the party weekly Révolution. She has contributed to La Pensée, Les Temps Modernes and Le Monde Diplomatique.
Île-de-France ClustersThe Ile-de-France has eight clusters among 71 approved by the Comité interministériel d'aménagement et de développement du territoire (CIADT, Interdepartmental Committee on Planning and Land Development). The first four were approved by the CIACT 14 October 2005. Two others were validated in July 2007: the cluster Finance Innovation and ASTech. Each of these clusters is intended to create jobs and increase the attractiveness of the region in a given area at national or international level.
DropullDropull (Dropulli; Δρόπολη or Δερόπολη Dropoli or Deropoli) is a municipality in Gjirokastër County, in southern Albania. The region stretches from south of the city of Gjirokastër to the Greek–Albanian border, along the Drino river. The region's villages are part of the Greek "minority zone" recognized by the Albanian government, in which majorities of ethnic Greeks live. The municipality Dropull was created in 2015 by the merger of the former municipalities Dropull i Poshtëm, Dropull i Sipërm and Pogon.
François MauriceauFrançois Mauriceau (1637 – 17 October 1709) was a French obstetrician. TOC Born in Paris, he received his training in obstetrics at the Hôtel-Dieu. He was a leading obstetrician in 17th-century Europe — in 1668 he published, Traité des Maladies des Femmes Grosses et Accouchées, a book that helped establish obstetrics as a science. It was eventually translated into several languages. He is also known for development of a classical manoeuvre of assisted breech delivery (Mauriceau-Levret manipulation).

As of September 2011, Systematic Paris-Region has permitted the development of 318 collaborative R&D projects, at a total cost of 1.
