Le ProjetLe Projet is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California; Atlanta, Georgia; and Staten Island, New York. The band features lead vocalist Kevin Martin, guitarist Brian Quinn & bassist Adam Kury from the band Candlebox, guitarist Lenny Cerzosie from the band The Infinite Staircase, and drummer Morgan Rose from the band Sevendust. The initial concept for this project began in 2013 when Martin, Rose and Cerzosie released a single to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy called "The Pride" with Cerzosie's band The Infinite Staircase.

He was the lead editor of Les Temps modernes, the leftist magazine he established with Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir in 1945.

Maison DrouinMaison Drouin (also known as Maison Cyril-Drouin) is a farmhouse located in a rural setting in Sainte-Famille-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Quebec, Canada. It was built between 1729 and 1730, then extended between 1734 and 1736. One of the oldest houses on Île d'Orléans, it has retained many of its original features over time, having undergone only minor changes since its extension. It bears witness to the pre-Industrial Revolution Quebec lifestyle. It was built by the Canac dit Marquis family, who kept it until 1872 when it passed into the hands of the Drouin family.
Dan PoncetDan Poncet is a contemporary French painter. Born on 14 July 1953 at the château de Saint-Just in Ain department, France. She graduated in 1972 from the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Lyon and thereafter from the École nationale des beaux-arts de Lyon. Her first paintings show an influence of impressionism and of fauvism. After 1975 she returned to realism and to old techniques used in 17th-century paintings, such as glaze, pâtes or demi-pâtes.
Phenomenology of PerceptionPhenomenology of Perception (Phénoménologie de la perception) is a 1945 book about perception by the French philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty, in which the author expounds his thesis of "the primacy of perception". The work established Merleau-Ponty as the pre-eminent philosopher of the body, and is considered a major statement of French existentialism. Merleau-Ponty attempts to define phenomenology, which according to him has not yet received a proper definition.
José Canalejas y CasasJosé Canalejas y Casas (1827–1902) was a Spanish engineer, writer and politician. Born in December 1827 in Barcelona. He was son of José María Canalejas Ugalde and Ana María Casas Foxet. He took studies in industrial engineering in Liège. Canalejas, who worked for the Railway Company from Ciudad Real to Badajoz, came to replace Telesforo Gómez Rodríguez as member of the Congress of Deputies, elected in representation of the Arévalo district at 1876 election to Cortes, who had renounced to the seat, as it was incompatible with his occupation as land registrar.

David GrubyDavid Gruby (20 August 1810 – 14 November 1898) was a Hungarian physician born in the village of Kis-Kér (now Bačko Dobro Polje, Serbia) to a Jewish farmer. He received his doctorate in Vienna and performed scientific research in Paris. Gruby is remembered as a pioneer in the fields of microbiology and medical mycology. Most of his important work was done during the 1840s, when he reported that human disease could be caused by fungi. In 1841 he described the fungus associated with favus, a discovery that was independent of Johann Lukas Schönlein's (1793–1864) findings.
