Sciences PoThe Paris Institute of Political Studies (Institut d'études politiques de Paris), also known as Sciences Po sjɑ̃s po or Sciences Po Paris, is a public research university located in Paris, France, that holds the status of grande école and grand établissement. The institute has decentralized campuses in Dijon, Le Havre, Menton, Nancy, Poitiers and Reims, each with their own academic program focused on a geopolitical part of the world.
Billy KearnsBilly Kearns (17 February 1923 – 27 November 1992) was an American actor. During World War II, Kearns fought in the Army's newly founded 10th Mountain Division created for fighting in mountainous areas. His acting career took place almost entirely in France, acting often in minor roles in TV films or on motion pictures, as soon as an American or British character was required for the cast. He is best known for portraying fictional character Bill Ballantine in the 1965 TV series Bob Morane.
NormanceNormance is a 1954 novel by the French writer Louis-Ferdinand Céline. The story is a fictionalised version of the author's experiences during the last parts of World War II, where he supported the Nazis. It is the sequel to Céline's 1952 novel Fable for Another Time, and has the subtitle Fable for Another Time II (Féerie pour une autre fois II). The book was reviewed in Publishers Weekly in 2009: "Even at his most lucid, Céline's prose reads like rapid bursts of slangy, profane argot—problematic enough in its own right—issued in a dramatic and confrontational style.
Paris-SaclayParis-Saclay is a research-intensive and business cluster currently under construction in the south of Paris, France. It encompasses research facilities, two French major universities with higher education institutions (grandes écoles) and also research centers of private companies. In 2013, the Technology Review put Paris-Saclay in the top 8 world research clusters. In 2014, it comprised almost 15% of French scientific research capacity. The earliest settlements are from the 1950s, and this area was subsequently extended several times during the 1970s and 2000s.
MétamaticIn the mid-1950s Jean Tinguely began production of a series of generative works titled Métamatics: machines that produced art works. With this series of works Tinguely not only problematised the introduction of the robotic machine as interface in our society, but also questioned the role of the artist, the art work and the viewer. Metamechanics (French méta-mécanique), in relation to art history, describes the kinetic sculpture machines of Jean Tinguely. It is also applied to, and may have its origins in, earlier work of the Dada art movement.

Institut d'études politiques de LyonThe Institut d'Études politiques de Lyon (or Lyon Institute of Political Studies) also known as Sciences Po Lyon, is a grande école located in Lyon, France. It is one of ten Institutes of Political Studies in France, and was established in 1948 by Charles de Gaulle's provisional government following the model of the École Libre des Sciences Politiques. It is located at the Centre Berthelot within the buildings of a former military health college and operates as an autonomous institution within the University of Lyon.
Charles Ragon de BangeCharles Ragon de Bange (17 October 1833 – 9 July 1914) was a French artillery officer and Polytechnician. He invented the first effective obturator system for breech-loading artillery, which remains in use. He also designed a system of field guns of various calibers which served the French Army well into World War I: the Système de Bange. Many attempts had been made at developing breech-loading cannons, but had only partial success sealing of the breech.
