ESRA was created in 1972 in Paris by Max Azoulay.

Herman de Vries de HeekelingenDr. Herman de Vries de Heekelingen, D.Litt. (18 June 1880 – 27 July 1942) was a Dutch scholar and author who lived the latter half of his life in Switzerland. He was professor of palaeography at the University of Nijmegen (with specialization in archaeology, prehistory, and ancient history) and was director of its library from 1923–1927. De Vries authored of a number of books on the Jewish question, and has been described as an antisemitic ideologue. De Vries was born in Groningen, Netherlands, and raised in a well-to-do Calvinist merchant family.
Guillaume d'AmiensGuillaume d'Amiens or Guillaume le Peigneur (floruit late 13th century) was a trouvère and painter from Amiens. All his music is contained in one chansonnier (songbook) of Arras, now manuscript "Latin 1490" in the Bibliotheca Apostolica Vaticana. In it, the rubrics which accompany the songs identify Guillaume as a paigneur, "painter". He may even be the artist who added the large illumination which precedes his songs in the manuscript. The preservation of his works in a single book is an identical case to that of fellow trouvères Adam de la Halle and Jehannot de l'Escurel.
Order of InterbeingThe Order of Interbeing (Tiếp Hiện, anglicised Tiep Hien, Ordre de l'Interêtre) is an international Buddhist community of monks, nuns and laypeople in the Plum Village Tradition founded between 1964 and 1966 by Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thích Nhất Hạnh. Initially, Nhất Hạnh established the Order of Interbeing from a selection of six board members of the School for Youth and Social Services, three men and three women. The first members were ordained in February 1966 and vowed to study and practice the Fourteen Precepts of Engaged Buddhism.
Yves MorvanYves Morvan (French:iv moʁɑ̃; born January 13, 1932, in Uzel) is a French archaeologist, specialist of the romanesque art and of the iconography of Blaise Pascal. He is also a restorer, sculptor of religious characters, as well as member of the Academy of Science, Literature and Arts of Clermont-Ferrand. During more than 40 years he worked on the medieval art from Auvergne. His works are quoted by numerous experts in various books. He undertook an important work of archaeology and discovered numerous murals in the churches of the region.
Hirak (Algeria)The 2019–2021 Algerian protests, also called Revolution of Smiles or Hirak Movement (الحِرَاك), began on 16 February 2019, six days after Abdelaziz Bouteflika announced his candidacy for a fifth presidential term in a signed statement. Khmer traditional clothingKhmer traditional clothing refers to the traditional styles of dress worn by the Khmer people from ancient times to the present. The sampot is the traditional garment of the Khmer, still popular among men and women of the lower class. It is basically a sarong similar to those worn in neighboring Laos and Thailand, with slight variations. Measuring approximately one and a half meters long, the two ends of the cloth are sewn together to form a tubular garment that is worn over the lower half of the body, extending to the ankles.
Joseph ArthaudJoseph Arthaud (13 June 1813 – 17 March 1883), was a French psychiatrist, physician and professor. Joseph Arthaud was of an unknown father. His mother, who was a manager of an embroidery workshop in Lyon, brought him up and encouraged his studies. Being too young to be accepted in philosophy class at Collège-lycée Ampère, he attended the medical school, then did his philosophy in 1828. He married Marie Girard (1814-1891) in 1838, they had four children, Françoise, Pothin, Claude and Emmanuel.
