École nationale supérieure des mines de NancyMines Nancy (École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy in French or Nancy School of Mines in English; also referred to as ENSMN, École des Mines de Nancy or Mines Nancy) is one of the leading French engineering Grandes Écoles. It is located in the campus Artem, in the city of Nancy, Eastern France (only 1h30 from Paris by TGV), and is part of the University of Lorraine. Around 400 students are taught general science and management and 300 follow specialised Master programs. These students are taught by 60 permanent professors.

The work became popular because it was written at a time when fairy tales were fashionable amongst aristocrats in Parisian literary salons. Perrault wrote the work when he retired from court as secretary to Jean-Baptiste Colbert, minister to Louis XIV of France.
École nationale supérieure agronomique de RennesThe Agrocampus Rennes (in French called in full École nationale supérieure agronomique de Rennes, meaning "Higher Institution for agricultural sciences of Rennes") was a French grande école created in 1849, training students mostly in the agronomy and life sciences fields. In 2008, Agrocampus Rennes was merged with Institut National d'Horticulture et de Paysage, another agricultural sciences school located in western France, to create Agrocampus Ouest.
