Jacques RivetteJacques Rivette (ʒak ʁivɛt; 1 March 1928 – 29 January 2016) was a French film director and film critic most commonly associated with the French New Wave and the film magazine Cahiers du Cinéma. He made twenty-nine films, including L'Amour fou (1969), Out 1 (1971), Celine and Julie Go Boating (1974), and La Belle Noiseuse (1991). His work is noted for its improvisation, loose narratives, and lengthy running times. Inspired by Jean Cocteau to become a filmmaker, Rivette shot his first short film at age twenty.
Voices of TransitionVoices of Transition (Cultures en Transition in French) is a 2012 documentary film by film director and producer Nils Aguilar. The film was produced in France and Germany and examines the danger posed to agricultural production by energy and resource scarcity. It depicts organic agricultural alternatives in France, the Transition Towns movement and urbanised food production in Cuba as forerunners of the transformation of food production away from industrialised agriculture and towards small-scale, decentralised production methods.

Grace Dieu (ship)Grace Dieu was the flagship of King Henry V of England and one of the largest ships of her time. Launched in 1418, she sailed on only one voyage and was subsequently laid up at anchor in the River Hamble. She burned in 1439 after being struck by lightning. The wreck is a Protected Wreck managed by Historic England. Grace Dieu was built to a design proposed by William Soper, a burgess of Southampton and Clerk of the King's Ships. She was clinker-built with three planks nailed together along each part of her hull and waterproofed with tar and moss sandwiched between the timbers.

He has been described in Art in America as "one of the most interesting performance artists anywhere", and by Artforum as "the great Absurdist". Portnoy was born in Washington, D.C., and studied comparative literature and creative writing at Vassar College and theater at the National Theater Institute at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center.

Minister in charge of Housing (France)The Minister in charge of Housing (Ministre chargé du Logement) is a cabinet member in the Government of France. Since 6 July 2020, the position has been occupied by Emmanuelle Wargon, Minister Delegate attached to the Minister of the Ecological Transition. In 1925 the position was created and called High Commissioner for Housing, after the war it became the Minister for Housing and Rebuilding. In 1967 it became attached to the Minister of Public Works in the government of Georges Pompidou then attached to the Minister of Territorial Development.
