13th Demi-Brigade of the Foreign LegionThe 13th Demi-Brigade of Foreign Legion (13e Demi-Brigade de Légion Étrangère, 13e DBLE), was created in 1940 and was the main unit of the 1st Free French Division, Free French Forces (FFL). From the coast of Norway to Bir Hakeim, to Africa then the Alsace, while passing by Syria and Italy, the 13th Demi-Brigade would be part of most of the major campaigns of the French Army during the Second World War. After having been engaged in Indochina from 1946 to 1954, the 13e DBLE joined the Algerian War, and left in 1962.
501e Régiment de chars de combatThe 501e Régiment de chars de combat 501e RCC in French, (501e R.C.C, or 501st Combat Tank Regiment) is an armoured tank unit of the French Army created on 13 May 1918, and which took part in the two world wars, the Russian Civil War, the Indochina war, and the Algerian war. The regiment participated to the campaigns of Free France, then the liberation of Europe at the corps of the 2nd Armoured Division 2e DB of général Philippe François Marie Leclerc de Hauteclocque.
Thierry AmielThierry Amiel (born 18 October 1982) is a French singer and songwriter from Marseille, France. He rose to fame after coming in second place to Jonatan Cerrada on the first edition of the French Pop Idol, À la Recherche de la Nouvelle Star. Thierry grew up in Auriol, a town in Bouches-du-Rhône. Keen on music from a young age, in 2001 he quit his studies in Psychology and tried unsuccessfully for both Rêve d'un soir and Popstars 2. His break came in 2003 when he competed in A La Recherche De La Nouvelle Star, losing narrowly in the final round.
Évian-les-BainsÉvian-les-Bains (evjɑ̃ le bɛ̃), or simply Évian (Èvian, Évyan, or L'Èvian), is a commune in Eastern France, by the border with Switzerland. François LenormantFrançois Lenormant (17 January 1837 – 9 December 1883) was a 19th-century French Hellenist, Assyriologist and archaeologist. Lenormant's father, Charles Lenormant, distinguished as an archaeologist, numismatist and Egyptologist, was anxious that his son should follow in his steps. He made him begin Greek at the age of six, and the child responded so well to this precocious scheme of instruction, that when he was only fourteen an essay of his, on the Greek tablets found at Memphis, appeared in the Revue Archéologique.

Grand Corps MaladeFabien Marsaud (born 31 July 1977), known professionally as Grand Corps Malade (GCM), is a French slam poet and lyricist. He has released seven studio albums so far, all of them reaching top-five status on the French SNEP chart. GCM started writing and performing a capella at slam events in 2003. Three years later, he signed with Universal's AZ affiliate and released his debut album Midi 20, which became a top-ten selling record of the year in France.
Ricardo BofillRicardo Bofill Leví (riˈkaɾðu buˈfiʎ ləˈβi; 5 December 1939 – 14 January 2022) was a Spanish architect from Barcelona, Catalonia. He founded Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura in 1963 and developed it into a leading international architectural and urban design practice. According to architectural historian Andrew Ayers, his creations rank "among the most impressive buildings of the 20th century." Born in late 1939, just after the end of the Spanish Civil War, Ricardo Bofill grew up in a well-to-do family with deep Catalan and Barcelonese roots.
Louis DemaisonLouis Demaison (5 November 1852 – 5 May 1937) was a 19th–20th-century French historiographer, archaeologist, and with Henri Jadart, one of the most significant contributors to the nineteenth/twentieth history of the Marne department. Louis Demaison was the grandson of fr (1796–1856), a trader who was mayor of Reims in 1837 and 1838 and Sophie Henriot whom he married in 1821. He began his studies in law and after obtaining his license he followed the courses of Gabriel Monod, Gaston Paris and Darmester at the École pratique des hautes études.
