Teaching power electronics : stiring up the interest and methodology of teaching with contribution of new technologies

This paper shows our efforts in comunication in oredr to increase the student number in the classical section of electrical engineering. In the field of Power Electronics, aquired know-howw is presented to the students by using electronic and computer tools during the lesson, based on a systematic method. The aim is to give students a global vision of Power Electronics based on methodological approach, instead or before detaiing each particular structure of converter. The special developed electronic tools are avaiable for students on the internet site of our institute.
