Assembly of School

The Assembly of School (AE) at EPFL is a body composed of 16 members representing the four main groups within the school. It plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of faculty councils and consultations organized by the EPFL management. The AE submits proposals to the EPFL management, reviews the annual activity report of the EPFL President, and has a say in normative acts, budget, planning, and the establishment or removal of teaching and research units. Additionally, the AE is responsible for appointing employee representatives to the Parity Body of the EPF pension fund. It holds a privileged position within EPFL, ensuring the representation and participation of all school bodies.
