The Student Association of the Architecture Department of the EPFL (ASAR) is a student-run organization dedicated to fostering social cohesion and creating connections among architecture students. Through various commissions like EVENT and In Situ, ASAR organizes sociocultural events, debates, conferences, and visits to architectural sites. The association also hosts the annual BeSAR event, a significant gathering that attracts over 1,000 participants and showcases musical talents within and outside the department. ASAR's commitment to promoting diversity and cultural exchange is evident in its initiatives, such as the DRAG lab, which focuses on parity and diversity in the architecture school through discussions and readings.
