The AVP Student Affairs and Outreach - Management unit at EPFL is dedicated to providing excellent support to young scientists and promoting high-quality science education from school age to university level. It focuses on creating a nurturing environment for EPFL students to thrive, offering various services such as promoting science to youth and the public, organizing enriching programs for high-potential youth, assisting in the Gymnasium-EPFL transition, supporting social and psychotherapeutic needs, providing housing assistance, language learning support, sports activities, and employment guidance. Led by Vice-President Kathryn Hess, the unit aims to cultivate a culture of respect, tolerance, responsibility, integrity, diversity, and a rich array of extracurricular activities, making EPFL a model for the academic world.
