The Laboratory for Galaxy Evolution and Spectral Modeling (GalSpec) at EPFL is dedicated to high-quality research in galactic and extragalactic astrophysics, focusing on the formation and evolution of galaxies and supermassive black holes across different cosmic epochs. The team excels in numerical methods for galaxy simulations and spectral modeling, validating simulation predictions against observations of galaxies near and far.
