The Laboratory of Statistical Biophysics at EPFL, established in 2003, focuses on using tools from statistical physics to understand living matter. Research areas include protein homeostasis, chromatin organization, cellular clocks, and the origins of life. The lab collaborates with skilled scientists locally and internationally, supported by EPFL, the Swiss National Research Foundation, and the European Commission.
