The Laboratory of Organic and Macromolecular Materials at EPFL, part of the Institute of Materials, conducts interdisciplinary research at the interface of synthetic chemistry, supramolecular self-assembly, and materials science. They focus on controlling structure formation at various length scales to guide chemical reactivity for carbon nanomaterials, electronic properties in organic semiconductor nanostructures, and mechanical properties in supramolecular materials.
