The Laboratory of High Energy Physics (LPHE) at EPFL is specialized in particle physics, conducting research in collaboration with international partners. LPHE is actively involved in the LHCb experiment at CERN, focusing on CP violation studies, new particle searches, and rare decay processes. The unit is dedicated to developing technical advancements in particle detection, signal processing electronics, and computing. LPHE offers opportunities for students to engage in master's projects and doctoral assistant positions, contributing to both teaching and research activities. The unit's teaching activities cover all levels of university education, including general physics courses, specialized courses in elementary particle physics and nuclear physics, and particle detection techniques.
