The Medical Image Treatment Laboratory (MIPLAB) at EPFL, jointly with the University of Geneva, focuses on developing innovative data-processing tools for neuroimaging data analysis. Led by Prof. Dimitri Van De Ville, the lab aims to gain new insights into brain function and dysfunction by modeling the brain as a network and a dynamical system. MIPLAB's research involves (functional) magnetic resonance imaging, electroencephalography, and optical techniques to interpret and predict cognitive and clinical conditions. The lab collaborates with various institutions and receives funding from organizations like the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Bertarelli Foundation.
