The Advanced NEMS Laboratory at EPFL focuses on Research Nano-Electro-Mechanical Systems (NEMS) with dimensions close to or below 1 um, offering unprecedented responsivity and resolution for sensing various physical and chemical magnitudes. The group aims to advance NEMS and MEMS in sensing and communications by addressing design, simulation, fabrication, and characterization, with a multidisciplinary approach spanning Mechanical Engineering, Microengineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, and Bioengineering.
