Flashback (psychology)
A flashback, or involuntary recurrent memory, is a psychological phenomenon in which an individual has a sudden, usually powerful, re-experiencing of a past experience or elements of a past experience. These experiences can be frightful, happy, sad, exciting, or any number of other emotions. The term is used particularly when the memory is recalled involuntarily, especially when it is so intense that the person "relives" the experience, and is unable to fully recognize it as memory of a past experience and not something that is happening in "real time".
Tolérance zéro
La tolérance zéro est une doctrine visant à punir sévèrement les délinquants à la moindre infraction à la loi en raccourcissant au maximum le délai entre le délit et la réponse judiciaire. La notion de tolérance zéro, si elle n'est pas définie, suggère par sa formulation qu'aucune infraction n'est tolérable et/ou qu'il n'y a aucune circonstance atténuante. Elle a notamment été mise en pratique à New York, par Rudy Giuliani, dans les années 1990, et Baltimore. Si l’insécurité a significativement baissé dans ces deux villes, la doctrine reste critiquée.
Opioid antagonist
An opioid antagonist, or opioid receptor antagonist, is a receptor antagonist that acts on one or more of the opioid receptors. Naloxone and naltrexone are commonly used opioid antagonist drugs which are competitive antagonists that bind to the opioid receptors with higher affinity than agonists but do not activate the receptors. This effectively blocks the receptor, preventing the body from responding to opioids and endorphins.

Elle est d'abord apparue dans des pays ayant une forte tradition de santé publique comme les Pays-Bas puis la Grande-Bretagne pour se répandre dans les pays occidentaux mais elle reste absente dans le reste du monde.
Corporal punishment in the home
Physical or corporal punishment by a parent or other legal guardian is any act causing deliberate physical pain or discomfort to a minor child in response to some undesired behavior. It typically takes the form of spanking or slapping the child with an open hand or striking with an implement such as a belt, slipper, cane, hairbrush or paddle, whip, hanger, and can also include shaking, pinching, forced ingestion of substances, or forcing children to stay in uncomfortable positions.
