Comptoir

Wayanad

Wayanad (ʋɐjɐnaːɖɨ̆) is a district in the north-east of the Indian state of Kerala, with administrative headquarters at the municipality of Kalpetta. It is the only plateau in Kerala. The Wayanad Plateau forms a continuation of the Mysore Plateau, the southern portion of Deccan Plateau which links the Western Ghats with the Eastern Ghats. It is set high in the Western Ghats with altitudes ranging from 700 to 2100 meters. Vellari Mala, a high peak situated on the trijunction of Wayanad, Malappuram, and Kozhikode districts, is the highest point in Wayanad district.

Palakkad

Palakkad (malayalam : പാലക്കാട്, tamoul : பாலக்காடு), anciennement connue sous le nom de Palghat, est une ville de l'État du Kerala en Inde, chef-lieu du district homonyme. Palakkad se trouve dans la brèche ou trouée de Palghat, un seuil au travers de la chaîne des ghâts occidentaux parallèles à la côte ouest de l'Inde. Une localisation stratégique qui permet le passage du Kerala aux plaines de l'État du Tamil Nadu, situé à l'est. La ville s'étale entre les rives du fleuve Bharatapuzha (appelé Kannadipuzha à cet endroit) au sud, et son affluent, le Kalpathipuzha au nord.

Malappuram

Malappuram (മലപ്പുറം en Malayalam) est la quatrième plus grande ville du Kerala située en Inde. La cité est le centre du district éponyme, elle est gérée par un conseil municipal. La rivière Kadalundi irrigue la ville. La ville est reliée par la NH-213 et la NH-17, par le rail avec les gares de Angadipuram (17km de distance), les gares de Parappanangadi et Tirur (situées à ) aux grandes villes d'Inde. L'Aéroport international Calicut est une porte d'entrée de la ville.

Kasaragod

Kasaragod (kaːsɐrɡoːɖɨ̆) is a municipal town and administrative headquarters of Kasaragod district in the state of Kerala, India. Established in 1966, Kasaragod was the first municipal town in the district. It is the northernmost district of Kerala and is also known as Saptha Bhasha Sangama Bhoomi ('The Land of seven Languages'). Situated in the rich biodiversity of Western Ghats, it is known for the Chandragiri and Bekal Fort, Chandragiri River, historic Kolathiri Rajas, natural environment of Ranipuram and Kottancheri Hills, historical and religious sites like the Madiyan Kulom temple, Madhur Temple, Ananthapuram Lake Temple and Malik Deenar Mosque.

Alappuzha

Alappuzha (malayâlam : ആലപ്പുഴ) nommée jusqu'en 1990 Alleppey, est une ville de l'État du Kerala en Inde, chef-lieu du district homonyme. Alleppey est une ville et une municipalité du Kerala avec une population urbaine de 174 164 habitants et se classe au troisième rang des districts en termes de taux d'alphabétisation dans l'État. En 2016, le Centre pour la science et l'environnement a classé Alappuzha comme la ville la plus propre d'Inde.

Manjeri

Manjeri (mɐɲd͡ʑeːɾi) is a major town and municipality in Malappuram district, Kerala, India. It is the fourth-most populous municipality in state. It is situated southeast to Karipur International Airport and northeast to Malappuram, the district headquarters, and forms a part of Malappuram metropolitan area. It is one of the major commercial towns under the Malappuram urban agglomeration and serves as the headquarters of Eranad Taluk. Manjeri Municipality is a Local Self Government Institution with a jurisdiction of three villages namely Manjeri, Payyanad, and Narukara.

Thalassery

Thalassery (t̪ɐlɐʃ(ː)eːɾi), formerly Tellicherry, is a municipality and commercial city on the Malabar Coast in Kannur district, in the state of Kerala, India, bordered by the districts of Mahé (Pondicherry), Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kasaragod and Kodagu (Karnataka). Thalassery municipality has a population just under 100,000. Thalassery Heritage City has an area of . Thalassery has an altitude ranging from above mean sea-level.

Kozhikode

Kozhikode ou Calicut (en കോഴിക്കോട്) est une ville de l'État du Kerala en Inde, chef-lieu du district homonyme. C'est la troisième plus grande ville du Kerala. Khozhikode se situe à proximité de la côte ouest de l'Inde près du mont Nilgiri. Le port de Coimbatore y est installé. À proximité, se situent les villes de Mangalore et de Mysore. Kozhikode possède un aéroport (code AITA : CCJ), l'Aéroport international Calicut. La ville est probablement la Kalaikaris de Ptolémée.

Thrissur

Thrissur, autrefois Trichur, (malayâlam : തൃശൂര്‍ ; Tr̥śūr) est une ville de l'État du Kerala en Inde, chef-lieu du district homonyme.
