Vesterålen
Les îles Vesterålen sont un archipel norvégien dans le comté de Nordland, au nord des îles Lofoten. Elles comprennent les municipalités d'Andøy, Bø, Hadsel, Sortland et Øksnes. L'archipel est composé de plusieurs grandes îles : Langøya, Andøya, Hadseløya Skogsøya, Gisløya et la partie orientale de Hinnøya. Il y a de nombreuses plus petites îles, comme Dyrøya, Litløya, Anden,.... La population des îles Vesterålen se monte au à (Statistisk sentralbyrå). La ville la plus importante est Sortland, mais l'hôpital régional se trouve à proximité de Stokmarknes à Hadsel.
Lødingen
Lødingen (Lodegak) is a municipality in Nordland county in Norway. Lødingen is located on the southeastern corner of the island of Hinnøya, and is part of the traditional district of Ofoten. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Lødingen. The other main part of the municipality is Vestbygda. Lødingen has the nickname "Biketown" because it hosts several annual bicycle races, including "Lofoten Insomnia" and Vestbygd-rittet. The municipality is by area the 202nd largest out of the 356 municipalities in Norway.
Hadsel
Hadsel est une kommune de Norvège, de l'archipel de Vesterålen, dans le comté de Nordland. Le centre administratif de la municipalité est la ville de Stokmarknes. Elle est la commune la plus méridionale de la région des Vesterålen et s'étend sur quatre îles principales : Hadseløya, Hinnøya, Langøya et Austvågøya. Elle compte aussi d'autres îles : Børøya, Brottøya, Holdøya, Siløya et Ulvøya... L'aéroport de Stokmarknes est à proximité. C'est l'aéroport le plus fréquenté pour les petits avions en Norvège.
Sortland
Sortland est une kommune norvégienne de l'archipel des Vesterålen dans le comté de Nordland. Elle avait habitants en 2020. Son port est une escale de l'Hurtigruten. Harstad
Harstad (Hárstták en Saami) est une kommune norvégienne dans le département du Troms. Avec ses , elle est la troisième municipalité de la Norvège du Nord. Elle s'étend sur les parties nord-est de l'île de Hinnøya et sud-ouest de Grytøya, et comprend également diverses îles plus petites, telles que Gressholman, et Kjøtta. Kvæfjord
Kvæfjord (Giehtavuotna) is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Central Hålogaland. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Borkenes. Other villages include Hundstad, Langvassbukta, and Revsnes. Together with Harstad, the two municipalities cover a large part of the island of Hinnøya in the southern part of the Troms county. Kvæfjord consists mostly of mountains and fjords. The municipality centers on the Kvæfjorden and Gullesfjorden.
Skånland
Skånland (Skánit) is a former municipality that was located in the old Troms county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1926 until its dissolution in 2020 when it was merged into Tjeldsund Municipality. It was part of the Central Hålogaland region, just southeast of the city of Harstad. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Evenskjer. Other villages included Grovfjord, Renså, Sandstrand, and Tovik. The Tjeldsund Bridge in Skånland connects the island of Hinnøya (the largest coastal island in Norway) to the Norwegian mainland.

Le comté de Nordland (Nordland fylke en norvégien) est un comté norvégien situé au nord du pays. Il est voisin des comtés de Troms et Finnmark et Trøndelag. Son chef-lieu se situe à Bodø. Le comté assure également l’administration de l’île Jan Mayen, et ce, depuis 1995. Le Nordland s’étend sur une longueur de 500 kilomètres, depuis le Trøndelag jusqu’au Troms et Finnmark. Le littoral est très accidenté, et le comté inclut la plupart des îles Lofoten et Vesterålen. La pêche reste l’un des secteurs économiques les plus importants.
Trondenes
Trondenes is an old parish and former municipality in Troms county in Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1964. It was located along the western shore of the Vågsfjorden in what is now Harstad Municipality. Trondenes included the majority of the island of Grytøya and part of the eastern coast of the island of Hinnøya as well as some smaller islands. Located just north of the town of Harstad, the village of Trondenes was the administrative centre of the municipality.
Îles Lofoten
Les îles Lofoten (prononciation : ) sont un archipel appartenant à la Norvège. Elles se situent en mer de Norvège, au large de Bodø et au nord du cercle polaire. Le Vestfjord, un bras de mer poissonneux, les sépare du continent. Lofoten (en vieux norrois : Lófót) est l'ancien nom de l'ile de Vestvåg. Le premier élément du mot est ló, « lynx », et le deuxième dérive de fótr, « pied », indiquant que la forme de l'île pourrait avoir été comparée au pied d'un lynx (l'ancien nom de l'ile voisine de Flakstad est Vargfót, « le pied du loup »).
