BanglapediaBanglapedia: the National Encyclopedia of Bangladesh is the first Bangladeshi encyclopedia. It is available in print, CD-ROM format and online, in both Bengali and English. The print version comprises fourteen 500-page volumes. The first edition was published in January 2003 in ten volumes by the Asiatic Society of Bangladesh, with a plan to update it every two years. The second edition was issued in 2012 in fourteen volumes. Banglapedia was not designed as a general encyclopedia but as a specialized encyclopedia on Bangladesh-related topics.
MungerMunger, formerly spelt as Monghyr, is a twin city and a Municipal Corporation situated in the Indian state of Bihar. Port of ChittagongThe Chittagong Port (চট্টগ্রাম বন্দর) is the main seaport of Bangladesh. Located in Bangladesh's port city of Chittagong and on the banks of the Karnaphuli River, the port handles over 90 percent of Bangladesh's export-import trade, and has been used by India, Nepal and Bhutan for transshipment. According to Lloyd's, it ranked as the 58th busiest container port in the world in 2019. The port is one of the oldest in the world, with a recorded history dating back to ancient Roman accounts.
