PatnaPatna (en पटना, Paṭna) est la capitale de l'État du Bihar, dans le nord-est de l’Inde. La ville était auparavant connue sous les noms de Kusumpura, Pushpapura, Pāṭaliputra et Azeemabad. Sa population, en augmentation rapide, estimée aujourd'hui à près de 2 millions d'habitants, était en 1991 de habitants. Patna est située sur la rive sud du Gange. Patna est depuis longtemps un centre commercial pour les produits agricoles. Patna alors Pāṭaliputra a accueilli Gautama Bouddha un peu avant sa mort.

Munger is situated about 180km from east of capital city Patna, about 480km west of Eastern India's largest city Kolkata and 1200km from country's capital New Delhi.
MithilaLe Mithila (मिथिला), également connu comme Tirabhukti est une région géographique et culturelle du sous-continent indien, principalement situé dans l'État indien du Bihar, mais couvrant aussi le Teraï oriental (notamment la province du Madhesh) au Népal. La ville du même nom a été la capitale du royaume de Videha, un État de l'ancienne Inde. Gautama Bouddha a tenu plusieurs enseignements dans cette ville. Durement touchée par l'invasion musulmane (fin du siècle), la culture sanskrite du Bengale s'est réfugiée dans le nord du Bihar, à Mithila.
DarbhangaDarbhanga is the fifth-largest city and municipal corporation in the state of Bihar in India, and is considered an important city in North Bihar. It serves as the headquarters of the Darbhanga district and the Darbhanga division. It is held that the name Darbhanga has been derived from Dwar Banga or Dari – Banga, meaning the 'door of Bengal'. Darbhanga was the seat of the erstwhile Khandwala zamidaar dynasty under the Mughals and British India. It is the capital of the proposed Indian state, Mithila.
