Lohara dynastyThe Lohara dynasty were Hindu rulers of Kashmir in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent, between 1003 and approximately 1320 CE. The early history of the dynasty was described in the Rajatarangini (Chronicle of Kings), a work written by Kalhana in the mid-12th century and upon which many and perhaps all studies of the first 150 years of the dynasty depend. Subsequent accounts, which provide information up to and beyond the end of the dynasty come from Jonarāja and Śrīvara.
Anchar LakeAnchar Lake (/aːn̂t͡ʃaːr/ Aanchar_Lake.ogg)is a lake located near Soura area, near the city of Srinagar in Srinagar district of Kashmir, India. Situated close to Ganderbal, the lake is connected with the famous Dal Lake via a channel "Amir Khan Nallah" which passes through Gilsar and Khushal Sar. The lake is in a highly deteriorated condition. In case of flooding, the excessive water of Dal is diverted here.
HazratbalHazratbal is the notified area situated in Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about from Srinagar city center. The area became famous after the construction of Hazratbal Shrine where hundreds of thousands of people visit every year because many relics related to the Islamic prophet Muhammad are believed to be there. The word Hazrat in Urdu gives an indication of respect and bal in Kashmiri means place. Thus the word Hazratbal means the place which is highly respected among the people.

BadgamBudgam (bəɖɡaːm), known as Badgom (baɖɡoːm; big village) in Kashmiri, is a town in Budgam district in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. In the 2001 census, it was recorded as having a notified area committee, but by the 2011 census it had a municipal committee. India census, Budgam had a population of 15,338. There were 9,003 males (59%) and 6,335 females (41%). Of the population, 1,335 (8.7%) were age 0-6: 680 males (51%) and 655 females (49%). The literacy rate for the people over six was 73.

It is also the administrative headquarters of the Baramulla district, located on the banks of the River Jhelum downstream from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The town was earlier known as gateway of Kashmir, serving as the major distribution centre for goods arriving in Kashmir valley through the Jhelum valley cart road.

In 2016, the district administration said that the area was . Muslims constitute about 98% of the population among which Shia Muslims form 30-35% and Sunni Muslims form 65-70%.
