Meo (ethnic group)
Meo (pronounced: may-o or mev), is an ethnic group of the Mewat region from north-western India, particularly from the Nuh district (previously Mewat district) in Haryana and parts of adjacent Alwar and Bharatpur districts in Rajasthan. They speak Mewati, a language of the Indo-Aryan language family, although in some areas the language dominance of Urdu and Hindi has seen Meos adopt these languages instead.

Faridabad district is one of the 22 districts of the Indian state of Haryana with Faridabad city being the district headquarters.The District is a Part of Central National Capital Region of Delhi.The Delhi-Mathura-Agra National Highway 44 (Grand Trunk Road) passes through the centre of the district, which occupies an area of and had a population of 1,809,733. Haryana government has created a new Faridabad division which would cover the districts – Faridabad, Nuh and Palwal.

Nuh district (formerly known as Mewat district) is one of the 22 districts in the Indian state of Haryana. There are four sub-divisions in this district: Nuh, Ferozepur Jhirka, Punahana, and Taoru. It has an area of and had a population of 1.09 million in 2011. It is bounded by Gurugram District to the north, Palwal District of Haryana to the east and Alwar District of Rajasthan to the south and west. Its boundaries also touch Bharatpur District of Rajasthan and Mathura District of Uttar Pradesh near Bichhor Village and Nai Village of Punhana Tehsil.
Aravalli

Gurgaon
Gurugram, anciennement Gurgaon, est une ville de l'État indien de l'Haryana. La ville est située à 20 km de New Delhi et à 10 km de l'aéroport de Delhi. La ville est un des plus grands centres d'affaires d'Inde et le siège indien de très nombreuses multinationales. Elle se développe très rapidement et on y trouve l'une des plus grandes concentrations en centres commerciaux (shopping malls) du pays. Jhajjar district is one of the 22 districts of Haryana state in northern India. Carved out of Rohtak district on 15 July 1997 and with its headquarters in Jhajjar, it lies from Delhi and had developed into an important industrial center. Other towns in the district are Bahadurgarh and Badli and Beri. Bahadurgarh is the major city of the district and state. Bahadurgarh is known as 'The City of Destiny'. Beri used to be a village fifty years ago. The district occupies an area of and its population was 709,000.
Surajkund
Surajkund is an ancient reservoir of the 10th century located on Southern Delhi Ridge of Aravalli range in Faridabad city of Haryana state about 8 km (5 mi) from South Delhi. Surajkund (literally 'Lake of the Sun') is an artificial Kund ('Kund' means "lake" or reservoir) built in the backdrop of the Aravalli hills with an amphitheatre shaped embankment constructed in semicircular form. It is said to have been built by the king Surajpal of the Tomara Rajputs in the 10th century.
Najafgarh drain
The Najafgarh drain or Najafgarh nalah (nalah in Hindi means rivulet or storm water drain), which also acts as Najafgarh drain bird sanctuary, is another name for the northernmost end of River Sahibi, which continues its flow through Delhi, where it is channelized, and then flows into the Yamuna. Within Delhi, due to its channelization for flood control purposes, it is now erroneously called "Najafgarh drain" or "Najafgarh nullah." It gets this name from the once famous and huge Najafgarh Jheel (lake) near the town of Najafgarh in southwest Delhi and within urbanized Delhi.
Bahadurgarh
Bahadurgarh is a city and municipal council, nearby Jhajjar City, is located in Jhajjar district in the Indian state of Haryana. The city comprises 31 wards and is approximately 21 km from National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi and 31 km from Jhajjar, the district headquarter. It is one of the major cities of Haryana and is surrounded by the major NCR cities of Faridabad, Gurugram and Sonipat. Bahadurgarh is also known as the "Gateway of Haryana". The city was founded by Mughal Emperor Alamgir II, who was the Sultan of Delhi from 1754 to 1759.
Farrukhnagar
Farrukhnagar is a small town and municipality in Farrukhnagar tehsil of Gurugram district in the Indian state of Haryana. It is situated from Gurgaon and shares its border with Jhajjar district. It is part of the Ahirwal region. It was established in 1732 by Faujdar Khan, the first Nawab of Farrukhnagar and a governor of the Mughal Emperor Farrukhsiyar. Farrukhnagar flourished due to its salt trade until the late 19th century, and was abandoned in the early 20th century, during the British Raj.
