Worcestershire

Le Worcestershire , abrégé en Worcs, est un comté non métropolitain situé dans l'Ouest de l'Angleterre. Il est bordé au nord-ouest par le Shropshire, à l'ouest par le Herefordshire, au sud par le Gloucestershire, à l'est par le Warwickshire, au nord-est par les Midlands de l'Ouest et au nord par le Staffordshire. Son chef-lieu est la ville de Worcester. Les autres grandes villes sont Redditch, Bromsgrove, Stourport-on-Severn, Droitwich, Evesham, Kidderminster et Malvern.

Bridgnorth

Bridgnorth est une ville du Shropshire en Angleterre, dans la vallée de la Severn. La ville est divisée en deux parties, la ville basse et la ville haute, nommées ainsi du fait de leur position par rapport au fleuve Severn qui sépare la ville haute sur la rive droite de la ville basse sur la rive gauche. Bridgnorth (Bridgenorth, littéralement pont nord) est nommée ainsi du fait d'un pont construit sur le fleuve Severn plus au nord qu'un pont plus ancien à Quatford. C'est le chef-lieu et la ville la plus peuplée du district de Bridgnorth.

Coseley

Coseley (ˈkoʊzli ) is a village in the Dudley Metropolitan Borough, in the West Midlands County, England. It is situated north of Dudley itself, on the border with Wolverhampton. Though it is a part of the Dudley North constituency. It also falls within the Wolverhampton South-East parliamentary constituency. Coseley was originally a village in the ancient manor of Sedgley. In 1867, it joined with Brierley and Ettingshall to break away from the parish of Sedgley and formed Lower Sedgley Local Board District.

Bilston

Bilston is a town in Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands, England. It is close to the borders of Sandwell and Walsall. The nearest towns are Darlaston, Wednesbury, and Willenhall. Historically in Staffordshire, three wards of Wolverhampton City Council now cover the town: Bilston East and Bilston North, which almost entirely comprise parts of the historic Borough of Bilston, and Ettingshall, which comprises a part of Bilston and parts of Wolverhampton.

Kingswinford

Kingswinford is a town of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the English West Midlands, situated west-southwest of central Dudley. In 2011 the area had a population of 25,191, down from 25,808 at the 2001 Census. The current economic focus of Kingswinford is education and housing for commuters. Positioned at the far western edge of the West Midlands Urban Area it borders on a rural area extending past the River Severn; but its position at the edge of the Black Country and its long standing in the area means it has had significant industrial influence in the past.

Dudley (Midlands de l'Ouest)

Dudley () est une grande ville sur la ligne de partage des eaux entre la Severn (qui se jette dans l'Atlantique) et la Trent (qui se jette dans la mer du Nord). Elle est située dans le comté du Midlands de l'Ouest, en Angleterre. Selon le recensement 2001 la partie urbaine de la ville comporte . Depuis 1974, Dudley est le centre administratif du District métropolitain de Dudley. La ville se situe au 24ème rang au Royaume-Uni par sa population, et la seconde plus grande ville du Royaume-Uni, derrière Reading, pour sa superficie, ainsi que le plus grand territoire du Royaume-Uni ne disposant pas de sa propre université.

Kinver

Kinver is a large village in the District of South Staffordshire in Staffordshire, England. It is in the far south-west of the county, at the end of the narrow finger of land surrounded by the counties of Shropshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. The nearest towns are Stourbridge, West Midlands, Kidderminster in Worcestershire and Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal passes through, running close to the course of the meandering River Stour.

Amblecote

Amblecote is an urban village and one of the most affluent areas in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the West Midlands, England. It lies immediately north of the historic town of Stourbridge bordering Wollaston ,Audnam and Quarry Bank, extending about one and a half miles from it, and is on the southwestern edge of the West Midlands conurbation. Historically, Amblecote was in the parish of Oldswinford, but unlike the rest of the parish (which was in Worcestershire) it was in Staffordshire, and as such was administered separately.

Wombourne

Wombourne is a village and civil parish located in the district of South Staffordshire, in the county of Staffordshire, England. It is 4 miles (6 km) south-west of Wolverhampton and just outside the county and conurbation of the West Midlands. Local services are run by a parish council. At the 2001 census it had a population of 13,691, increasing to 14,157 at the 2011 Census. The Old English word burna signifies a stream, and a stream is a notable feature of the village.

Wordsley

Wordsley is a suburban area of Stourbridge in the West Midlands, England. It is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley and falls into the Stourbridge (DY8) postcode and address area, being just north of the River Stour. Wordsley is part of the Dudley South Parliamentary constituency. It is bordered by open countryside to the west, Kingswinford to the North, Brierley Hill to the East and Stourbridge to the South.
