Au début de la tablette X de l'Épopée de Gilgamesh, Siduri accueille dans sa taverne Gilgamesh après une marche épuisante et tente de le dissuader de poursuivre sa quête. Elle fini par indiquer à Gilgamesh comment trouver pour qu'il poursuive sa quête. Comme l'explique Jean Bottéro, historien assyriologue et traducteur de L'Épopée : Selon Jean Bottéro : .
TeshubTeshub (Teššub,Teshup, Teššup ou Tešup) est le dieu principal du panthéon hourrite, le roi des dieux. Il est le dieu de l'Orage, c'est-à-dire des phénomènes climatiques comme la pluie, le vent, la foudre, le tonnerre, qui sont ses armes. Teshub est donc à rapprocher d'autres divinités similaires occupant elles aussi une place importante dans leur panthéon, comme Adad (Mésopotamie), Addu (Amorrites), Hadad/Baal (Canaan), Tarhu (Hittites), Seth (Egypte) ou encore Teisheba (Urartu).
KumarbiKumarbi, also known as Kumurwe, Kumarwi and Kumarma, was a Hurrian god. He held a senior position in the Hurrian pantheon, and was described as the "father of gods". He was portrayed as an old, deposed king of the gods, though this most likely did not reflect factual loss of the position of the head of the pantheon in Hurrian religion, but only a mythological narrative. It is often assumed that he was an agricultural deity, though this view is not universally accepted and the evidence is limited.
KummeKumme (Akkadian Kummu or Kummum, Hittite Kummiya) was a Hurrian city, known from textual sources from both second and first millennium BCE. Its precise location is unknown, but it is mentioned in cuneiform texts from multiple other sites. It might have been located close to modern Zakho or Beytüşşebap. From the Old Babylonian period until Neo-Assyrian times it served as a religious center of transregional significance due to its association with the Hurrian weather god, Teshub.
IsharaIshara (Išḫara) was a goddess originally worshiped in Ebla and other nearby settlements in the north of modern Syria in the third millennium BCE. The origin of her name is disputed, and due to lack of evidence supporting Hurrian or Semitic etymologies it is sometimes assumed it might have originated in a linguistic substrate. In Ebla, she was considered the tutelary goddess of the royal family. An association between her and the city is preserved in a number of later sources from other sites as well.

ŠimigeŠimige was the Hurrian sun god. Known sources do not associate him with any specific location, but he is attested in documents from various settlements inhabited by the Hurrians, from Kizzuwatnean cities in modern Turkey, through Ugarit, Alalakh and Mari in Syria, to Nuzi, in antiquity a part of the kingdom of Arrapha in northeastern Iraq. His character was to a large degree based on his Mesopotamian counterpart Shamash, though they were not identical. Šimige was in turn an influence on the Hittite Sun god of Heaven and Luwian Tiwaz.

Elle correspond également à Astarté ou Athtart à Ougarit, et à Ashtart en langue punico-phénicienne.
ReshepResheph (also Reshef and many other variants, see below; Eblaite , Rašap, 𐎗𐎌𐎔, ršp, Egyptian ršpw, 𐤓𐤔𐤐, ršp, Hebrew , Reshef) was a god associated with war and plague, originally worshiped in Ebla in the third millennium BCE. He was one of the main members of the local pantheon, and was worshiped in numerous hypostases, some of which were associated with other nearby settlements, such as Tunip. He was associated with the goddess Adamma, who was his spouse in Eblaite tradition.
