Dornier Do 228Le Dornier 228 (abrégé Do 228, Code IATA D28, Code OACI D228) est un biturbopropulseur construit par l’avionneur allemand Dornier de 1981 à 1998 dans l’usine de Oberpfaffenhofen près de Munich et produit sous licence depuis 1986 par Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. à Kanpur (Inde). Sur les 270 appareils construits, environ 190 sont encore en service dans le monde entier (en 2007). Il est surnommé "le camion du ciel" pour ses performances sur terrains courts voire inexistants.
