ChilwellChilwell is a village and residential suburb of Nottingham and former civil parish, now in the unparished area of Beeston, Nottinghamshire, in the Broxtowe district of Nottinghamshire, England, west of Nottingham city. Until 1974 it was part of Beeston and Stapleford Urban District, having been in Stapleford Rural District until 1935. Roman buildings, pottery and coins have been found in Chilwell. Chilwell was originally a hamlet on the road from Nottingham to Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
RuddingtonRuddington (ˈrʌdɪŋtən) is a large village in the Borough of Rushcliffe in Nottinghamshire, England. The village is south of Nottingham and northwest of Loughborough. It had a population of 6,441 at the 2001 Census, increasing to 7,216 at the 2011 Census. The village residents have previously conducted high-profile campaigns in an attempt to retain the rural identity as a village and prevent it being subsumed into the adjoining suburban village of Clifton and town of West Bridgford.

It lies 7 miles north of Nottingham, 7 miles south-east of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, 9 miles from Mansfield and 10 miles south of Sutton-in-Ashfield. It is the second largest town in the Ashfield district after Sutton-in-Ashfield. Hucknall is north-west of Nottingham, on the west bank of the Leen Valley, on land which rises from the Trent Valley in the south and extends northwards to Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
RainworthRainworth is a village in the ceremonial county of Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands of England. It is split between the local government districts of Newark and Sherwood and Mansfield. To the north of Rainworth is the village of Clipstone and to the east are the villages of Bilsthorpe and Farnsfield. Mansfield lies two miles to the west. The village of Blidworth is a mile to the south. The A617 dual-carriageway bypasses the village. The roundabout at the western terminus was the starting point for the Mansfield and Ashfield Regeneration Route.
West BridgfordWest Bridgford (ˈbrɪdʒfərd) is a town and the administrative centre of the Borough of Rushcliffe in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. It lies immediately south of Nottingham, east of Wilford, north of Ruddington and west of Radcliffe-on-Trent. It is southwest of Colwick and southeast of Beeston which are on the opposite bank of the River Trent. The town is part of the Nottingham Urban Area and had a population of 48,225 in a 2018-estimate. West Bridgford was founded between 919 and 924 when defences and houses were built at the south end of Trent Bridge.
BlidworthBlidworth is a village and civil parish approximately five miles east of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 4,457. Its history can be traced back to the 10th century, although many of the current houses were built in the first half of the 20th century to provide housing for workers at Blidworth Colliery (1926–1989). These are mainly in estates north of Dale Lane, known as New Blidworth.
