Vêtement

Un vêtement est un article d’habillement servant à couvrir une partie du corps humain. Il est le plus souvent en tissu mais les matériaux utilisés pour sa fabrication tendent à se diversifier au fil des siècles. La raison d’être d'un vêtement varie fortement selon les cultures et les périodes de l’histoire : pratique (protection), symbolique (signaler une posture morale) ou encore sociale (afficher un statut). Doryphore

Le Doryphore (Leptinotarsa decemlineata), ou Doryphore de la pomme de terre, est une espèce d'insectes de l'ordre des coléoptères et de la famille des chrysomélidés aux élytres jaunes rayés de noir. Cet herbivore, spécialisé dans les plantes de la famille des Solanaceae, est un ravageur important, tant à l'état adulte qu'à l'état larvaire, des cultures de pommes de terre qu'il peut anéantir en cas de défoliation totale. Il peut aussi s'attaquer à d'autres Solanacées cultivées comme la tomate et l'aubergine.

Hand feel

Hand feel (Hand, Fabric hand, Fabric feel) is the property of fabrics related to the touch that expresses sensory comfort. It refers to the way fabrics feel against the skin or in the hand and conveys information about the cloth's softness and smoothness. Hand feel is an estimated and subjective property of different fabrics, but nowadays, hand feel could be measured and assessed statistically. This terminology was commonly used in relation to wool, referred to as a 'wool term,' or in the broader textile industry to describe fabrics.

Atmospheric optics

Atmospheric optics is "the study of the optical characteristics of the atmosphere or products of atmospheric processes .... [including] temporal and spatial resolutions beyond those discernible with the naked eye". Meteorological optics is "that part of atmospheric optics concerned with the study of patterns observable with the naked eye". Nevertheless, the two terms are sometimes used interchangeably. Meteorological optical phenomena, as described in this article, are concerned with how the optical properties of Earth's atmosphere cause a wide range of optical phenomena and visual perception phenomena.
