The Algorithmes numeriques et calcul haute performance - Chaire CADMOS, led by Prof. Daniel Kressner, focuses on research in low-rank approximation techniques, robust solution methods for nonlinear eigenvalue problems, and Riemannian optimization for high-dimensional problems with low-rank tensor structure. The unit has produced a significant number of theses and publications in the areas of linear algebra, signal processing on graphs, matrix computations, and eigenvalue optimization. With a strong emphasis on numerical algorithms and high-performance computing, the unit offers teaching in advanced numerical analysis, computational linear algebra, and numerical methods for solving differential equations and optimization problems.
