LaboratoryThe Constam lab at EPFL focuses on Developmental and Cancer Cell Biology, using genetic and biochemical approaches to study molecular mechanisms in cell and tissue growth and differentiation. Research projects include investigating TGFb signaling in development and cancer, live imaging of proprotein convertases, and the regulation of mRNA translation and cell metabolism in polycystic kidney diseases. A key area of interest is understanding how factors like the RNA-binding protein Bicc1 and specific interacting factors impact cancer progression and metastasis by regulating various signaling pathways.
